Gloria Tavis Cabral

GLORIA TAVIS CABRAL, born 11/24/53, passed away on 7/22/09. Gloria leaves behind her daughter, Jessica & son-in-law, Cosme, ex-husband & friend, Todd, sisters, Bunny, Sylvia, Christy, Wendy & Ruth*, brothers, Mark, Bryan & Keith. Gloria touched many lives through her service as a nurse in the US Air Force and 21 years with HCHD. Gloria dedicated her spare time as a volunteer at UST Chapel of St. Basil. Gloria will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace. Services will be held at the University of St Thomas Chapel Fri 7/24/09 at 7pm with reception to follow.

* Ruth Bailey, Gloria best friend who was like a sister to her.

 

Gloria's ashes were interred at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery in Pennsylvania, Saturday, August 8, 2009 where a memorial service was held for family members.

May we each receive the grace to move beyond the pain we are feeling into that infinite love in which we are all joined as one.
