The very first day. I made a stand of a few old 2x4s. The construction is shoddy, but it worked. The hose has a cap on it with a 1/16" hole drilled in it. This kept the water from freezing down to the coldest temperature we had during the week, 0F.

Later the first day
Sunshine and cold make the sculpture grow in odd directions.
It's starting to take shape. The hose is held up by the board on the left.
For size comparisions. I'm about 6' tall and the sctuplture is about as tall as the hose-holder (probably 12' or so)
About 3 days into it
3 days, closeup of the top in sunlight.
The top is growing significantly. The very cold weather (single digits) causes the arms to grow toward the hose.

What it looks like from a distance.
I really like this shot...
Not much more to be done on this side, I moved the hose to the other side for a bit.
So I took more pictures than necessary. Sue me.
Closeup near the bottom showing some detail.
I told you I liked this shot. Or perhaps my wife took this...
Kind of looks like one of the creatures from "Lord of the Rings" or some other fantasy epic.
Several shots here of the whole thing after I took the hose down.
Hose gone, we' got a little sunshine.
Some detail of one of the "noses".
