We have many visitors here. The back part of the property is a "pond site". That means a marsh (actually, a fen if you want to get technical). The other side of the fen backs up on state land. So the wildlife makes the journey from where they bed down to the fields across the road for dinner and snacks. My family would have had a fit if I'd tried to make these into dinner...

Besides turkeys, we have many hawks (Red-tailed, marsh), assorted songbirds, deer, squirrels, raccoons, opossum's etc. As well as the usual things you'd expect to come out of a wetland.
