We started building the house in 1988, Erick as general contractor and a bunch of nephews aged 16-23 down to help for the summer. Problem is that I sounded just like my father. Found myself walking around the construction sight muttering things like "look at that, can't those kids pick anything up? That square is just laying across those 2X4s. Somebody's going to step on it and bend it all to ......". My father had passed away some years before, but I'm sure I heard him snicker :)

Anyway, as you can see it all eventually worked out.
